🌿 ECO-FRIENDLY HAIR SOLUTION

HEALTHY HAIR, NO POLLUTION

I regularly only use 2 ingredients + water in my hair!

I ditched conventional conditioner and shampoo over four years ago - and my hair and health are grateful!

😷 THE INVISIBLE COST OF CONVENTIONAL CARE 😷

Did you know you are exposed to thousands of toxins every day? We often choose products based on how they make us look on the outside, but we forget that our skin is our largest organ - what goes on it, goes in it.

"U.S. researchers report that one in eight of the 82,000 ingredients used in personal care products are industrial chemicals, including carcinogens, pesticides, reproductive toxins, and hormone disruptors." - The Dirty Dozen Cosmetic Chemicals by David Suzuki

🖤 WHY IT MATTERS TO YOUR HEALTH 🖤

Just because you can’t see the damage in the mirror doesn't mean it isn't happening.

These toxins accumulate in your system over time and can often manifest as hormonal disruptions affecting late periods or reproductive health, neurological stress leading to "unexplained" headaches and mood swings, or contribute to chronic inflammation and autoimmune symptoms.

Your products are not separate from you. If you are feeding your scalp chemicals, you are feeding your entire body those same toxins.

🌼 WHY I MADE THE SWITCH 🌼

My switch was driven by two major factors - being diagnosed with an autoimmune condition at age 12, and the fact that every single shampoo I tried made my scalp intensely itchy.

After years of scratching and wondering if these chemical-filled products were contributing to my symptoms, I finally decided to stop searching for a better brand and start searching for a simple, non-toxic solution.

Why choose a cocktail of 50+ toxic, hormone-disrupting chemicals when you can use two natural ingredients and water? It is a switch that offers the same beautiful, if not better, results while actually supporting your body and the planet.

✨ THE BENEFITS (RESULTS I NEVER GOT BEFORE) ✨

This simple rinse…

  • Manages dandruff and prevents excess bacterial growth.

  • Defrizzes, smoothes, and strengthens strands.

  • Supports a natural shine and clears oil buildup.

  • Supports hair growth and balances skin pH.

  • Doesn't strip essential hair oils and is cost-effective.

🌿 DETOXING AFTER SWITCHING 🌿

My #1 tip when trying new or all-natural products - Do not try it once or twice and give up!

Especially if you are new to this "ditch & switch" lifestyle, your body needs time to fully detox the chemicals you were feeding it before. Your body needs…

  1. Time to adjust to the lack of chemical exposure.

  2. Time to remove chemicals from the body (if detox pathways are functioning properly).

  3. Time to adjust to anything new before seeing benefits.

This can take 2–6+ months! We are not taught how much time the body actually needs to properly adjust without causing more stress by rushing its natural process. Switching was not easy at first—my scalp was extra itchy—but eventually, I started seeing amazing results!

PICK THE BEST RECIPE FOR YOU BELOW!

HAIR RINSE RECIPE

In a 16 oz cup add…

  • 2 – 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (acv)

Fill the rest with water and pour over wet or dry hair. Let soak for a minute and rinse.

SPRAY RECIPE (FOR CONVENIENCE)

  • 5 parts water

  • 1 part acv

  • 5 – 10 drops of tea tree essential oil

Spray thoroughly onto wet or dry hair, let soak for a minute, and rinse.

⚠️ DON’T SKIP THESE NOTES ⚠️

  • MEDICAL NOTE:  If you have a skin condition, talk to your doctor first.

  • USAGE: Do not use this daily - 1 or 2 times a week will likely be the right balance. Stop using if you experience lasting irritation.

  • SUN SENSITIVITY: Be aware, ACV may make your skin more sensitive to the sun.

  • DILUTION: Always dilute the ACV and essential oils to protect your skin from irritation.

  • VINEGAR TYPE: White vinegar works in a pinch, but does not provide all the same benefits as ACV.

  • OIL QUALITY: Not all essential oils are created the same. The FDA does not regulate them and many brands use synthetic ingredients despite “100% pure” labels. Choose your oils wisely! Other great oils for hair are lavender, grapefruit, rosemary, eucalyptus, and lemon.

  • SMELL: Yes, ACV has a smell, but it won’t last in your hair when rinsed properly. That smell is so much better for your health than the toxic manufactured fragrance in your old products!

  • CURLY HEADS & KNOTS: I highly suggest combing your hair right after applying the ACV to help get knots out!
